The range of services provided by Bahnbau Group, and in particular DB Bahnbau GmbH, in the catenary systems business area includes new build, upgrading and removal, maintenance and repair, and general services for Deutsche Bahn AG's standard catenary systems.

We have our own equipment pool - a fleet of catenary installation vehicles that includes Europe's most advanced catenary renewal machine, the FUM 100.128. To carry out catenary installation with the greatest level of efficiency possible, it is used in the so-called FUM complex in combination with other catenary machines. The vehicles are operated in the order of the tasks they perform to speed up installation, maintenance and servicing work on catenary systems.

One example taken from the range of services we provide

From April 1996 to May 2000, we were involved in the triple track extension of the Neudietendorf - Erfurt - Bischleben main line with the erection of catenary and local control systems. Contract value: DM 4.5 million.

Within Bahnbau Group these services are provided by DB Bahnbau GmbH.
