The Bahnbau Group provides the following basic and detail engineering services for permanent way and traffic installations:
- Track layout changes
- Track systems
- Level crossings
- Sub-surface drainage
- Clearing of areas for further use, e.g. Aurelis
- Deconstruction or rationalisation projects within the permanent way programme
Additional services include:
- Preparation of quotes and detailed estimates using the Granid software tool
- Site assessments (earthwork structures)
Current projects:
- Track and switch renewal in Wangen in Allgäu
- Bridge girder and track renewal on the Kronprinzenbrücke bridge near
- Track renewal and sub-surface drainage in Coswig and Liepzig-Wiederitzsch stations
- Planning of level-crossing modernisation programmes (surface renewal on level-crossing with bed renewal) in the Kempten Augsburg and Donauwörth area
- Track renewal in Basel Badischer Station
