Give your future structure as a civil engineer.

At the university you will acquire fundamental knowledge in the fields of math, mechanics, structural design, and structural physics, as well as construction-based management with business studies, law, and construction project management. Focal areas are offered in the fields of structural design and structural engineering, for example.

We offer the course in cooperation with various universities, for example TH Nürnberg, Hochschule Magdeburg and DHBW Mosbach. 

You will complete the practical stages in your home department at DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH, for example at the locations Augsburg, Bad Kleinen, Berlin, Halle, Hannover, München, Oberhausen or Karlsruhe (the locations offered vary every year). There you will be provided with an insight into construction projects, for example, in construction costing, and project management, as well as an introduction to testing and measurement procedures. Basic technical skills are also taught.

We offer a cooperative education program with integrated vocational training at some locations. In this model, you also gain a qualification from the chamber of commerce and industry in one of the vocational training programs of permanent-way worker or electrical fitter, in addition to your Bachelor’s degree.

Become a specialist in electrical engineering. 

At the university, you will receive basic engineering training and deal with topics from mathematics, physics and computer science that are relevant to electrical engineering. You will get to know all areas of electrical engineering such as electronics, system theory and microcomputer technology.

We offer the course in cooperation with various universities, for example DHBW Ravensburg, DHBW Mannheim, BTU Cottbus and HS Zittau/Görlitz.

You will have a "home unit" at DB Bahnbau Gruppe, and it will be where you do your practical work experience such as planning at our Dresden and Karlsruhe offices (locations vary each year). These practical phases will give you a comprehensive understanding of project management, planning and construction supervision, all with electrical engineering as their main focus. 

We offer a dual study programme in electrical energy systems at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. Students on this programme obtain a bachelor's degree and also receive a qualification as an electrical systems fitter (certificate from Germany's Chamber of Industry and Commerce).

At the university you will complete a classic Business Studies course, with a focus on industry, including the subject areas of supply chain management, marketing, HR management/organization, finance and accounting, as well as international corporate management.

You will study at  Berlin School of Economics and Law

in Berlin (Lichtenberg campus).

You will complete the practical stages in your home department at DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at changing sites, for example in Berlin and Halle (Saale).
